Application Requirements and Admission Criterions

Dates of Application: Applications can be done between the determined time interval in the academic calender from the Registrar’s Office. Application deadlines for 2024/2025 Fall Term: 17 April - 5 June 2024. Please check the following link for the most up to date information: Admission.

Quota for the Program: The quota for M.A. program with thesis is 12 students plus 2 for English preparatory class for the 2024/2025 Fall semester.

For application, the following conditions must be done:

• Anyone who has 4-year university degree can apply to the program (there is no restriction for field of undergraduate degree).
• Candidates should have a GPA of at least 2.75/4.00. If the candidate has not graduated yet, admission can be done with a minimum GPA 2.55; however, this is provisional application. GPA must be at least 2.75 for registration.
• The Graduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES) results card with a minimum score of 75 from the EA part or a GMAT score of minimum 600 or GRE score of minimum 155 from quantitative part is required.
• Proof of Proficiency in English:
  • BUEPT or
  • TOEFL 550, TWE 4.5 or
  • TOEFL (CBT) 213, TWE 4.5 or
  • TOEFL (IBT) 79, TWE 22 or
  • IELTS Academic 6.5, Academic Writing: 6.5

  In order to deliver the following documents:

  • 4-year university degree diploma
  • Transcripts of undergraduate degree program
  • A document that is approved by YADYOK indicating the English level accepted by the University
  • Two academic recommendation letters (Boğaziçi University, Department of Management Information Systems graduates are exempt)
  • The other documents requested by the Register Office

  Scientific Exam Date:

  • Written Exam: June 25, 2024, 10.00, Hisar Campus (The exam class will be announced)
